Mouflon Chess Challenge May 2020: Markidis beats CM Damianou

The second player to qualify for the Mouflon Chess Challenge May 2020 Final is Konstantinos Markidis after winning his Semi-Final match 4-2 against CM Ioannis Damianou. Throughout the match we saw strategical battles which led to an interesting match. Konstantinos took the lead by winning the first two games. Ioannis hit back in game 3 & 4 to equalize the match. Konstantinos regained the lead by winning game 5. In the last match, Ioannis went in aggressive mode as he needed to win the game but in the end he faltered and lost the game and match.
